v0.26.0/v0.27.0 Updates

Evening all, it's monthly update time! v0.26.0 is now up at the public page, and v0.27.0 is now available for patrons! This update finishes up the Tier 3 ship functionality with one more new ship, although I do have some additional art assets waiting to get in. I've also started on the very early stages of the game's pregnancy system, which will also be my main focus for the coming month. This system will require having a Tier 3+ ship unlocked, so get to completing some missions if you're not already there! v0.27.0 Change Log

Game Functions:

  • Tier 3 Cultural ship now available once two game factions have been completed and the Admiral's debriefing has been done.
  • Functionality to support unlocking scenes based on whether or not certain ship stations are staffed.
  • Functionality to support basing scene text and portraits based off of ship station assigned crew.

Scene Content:

  • Tier 3 Intro scene added to the Watch Station Dockyards, unlocked after the Admiral's debriefing.
  • Replayable Ship Combat Encounter added to the Figura Training station. Available following the tutorial.
  • Reproductive Health Officer Meeting scene added to the Ship Office, unlocked by having a Reproductive Health Officer assigned (Tier 3 ships only). Note: Functionality discussed in the meeting is not yet in the game.

  • Updated background added for Specialist Medbay ship compartments.

v0.26.1 Supporter Update

It's mid-month update time, and this update features new ships! The new Tier 3 ships are unlocked once the player has completed two of the enemy faction storylines, and feature a number of upgrades over Tier 2 vessels: more crew, a larger bridge staff, ways to speed up your development of your favorite DTF division crew, and also some setup for new game features which will be coming soon. This next cycle will focus on finishing up the last remaining ship work before we get to that, though. You can check out the Patreon post here for more info, and the patch notes are below:


v0.26.1 Change Log

Game Functions:

  • New Ship Station functionality: Shield Drain, allowing stations to attack and drain energy from enemy shields.
  • New Ship Station functionality: Training stations, which provide XP to the crewmember staffing the station.
  • Ship Stations may now have minimum required ranks. Minimum required rank will be listed in the station description.
  • Tier 3 ships are now unlocked at the Watch Station dockyards for players who have completed two factions and been debriefed by the Admiral. Current available ships: Tactical, Engineering, R&D, Medical. Note: Ships are using Tier 2 artwork as a placeholder.

v0.25.0/v0.26.0 Updates, and a Discount!

Evening all, it's monthly update time, but first off, it's also an anniversary! In celebration of the third anniversary of the store launch of Carnal Coup - Overseer's Edition, I've now permantly discounted the game, and it's also on sale for the next two weeks! You can find it as usual on Steam and itch.io!

As for Carnal Voyages, v0.25.0 is now up for the public, and v0.26.0 is out for patrons. The latest release finishes out the Seeder faction plotlines with some smut, and tosses in a special 'reward' scene from the Admiral when you report your progress. With the Seeders done I'll next be focusing on functionality for a bit, starting with the development of the next tier of ship classes.   • 'New Scene' alert markers added to Galaxy and Figura System maps for when new scenes are available at the Figura System. Does not apply to tutorial scenes.

  • Third Seeder 'Takeover' scene added to the Abandoned Observatory, unlocked 20 hours following the second. Has two non-exclusive branches. Added to replay mode.
  • Admiral Octo scene added to Watch Station, unlocked after completing two faction systems. Unlocks the Admiral Octo 'Topless' portrait entry in the Gallery.
  • Optional Admiral Octo 'reward' scene added, unlocked immediately following the previous scene. Added to replay mode.

Note: The new ships discussed in the Admiral scene are currently in-development and not yet in the game.

v0.25.1 Supporter Release

Hey all, it's mid-month update time! This update kicks off the Seeder finale arc with two scenes, although the finale scene is still in-progress and didn't quite make it for this update. That will be my focus for the next update, along with returning to the Figura system for a little reward from the Admiral, as thanks for completing the first two factions of the game.   • Second Seeder 'Takeover' scene added to the Abandoned Observatory, unlocked 20 hours following the previous. Requires an expenditure of millitals, R&D ensign requisitions, or cultural ensign requisitions, or completion of a Seduction encounter.

v0.24.0/v0.25.0 Updates

Evening all, it's monthly update time! v0.24.0 is now up for free at the usual page, and v0.25.0 is now out for patrons. This update includes a new Harian CG (perhaps the last, now that their arcs are complete) and two new Sage Lantana scenes, including a rather smutty back-to-school encounter. v0.24.1 Update

Evening all, it's mid-month update time! This one's a simple one, with two new Seeder scenes, including the climax to the 'civilian' plotline. The rest of the month will focus on finishing up Sage Lantana's plotline, including the smutty climax, before leading into the Seeder system wrapup.

Aside from game updates though, there's also a Patreon update to let folks know about. Due to changes to qualify for the Apple app, in November Patreon will be shifting all projects on 'pay per calendar month' billing to 'pay per 30 days' billing. Apple app users will also be getting charged 30% more.

My recommendation: don't use the Apple app.

v0.23.0/v0.24.0 Releases

Evening all, it's a new month with new updates! v0.23.0 is now up at the usual page, and v0.24.0 is now out for patrons! This update focuses almost entirely on adding in the rest of the new chain duty assignments, with 34 new assignments added in three systems. There was also a bit of bugfixing, however for the next month I'll be focusing entirely on wrapping up the Seeder plotlines.

Also, the species selection poll this month wrapped up, with the winners being the insectoid Roth (for the returning species) and the Space Slimes (for the new entries). Thanks to everyone who voted!

v0.24.0 Change Log

Game Functions:

  • Storyline-related duty assignments and chain duty assignments will now be marked with a green star icon on the top left. This does not apply to chain 'epilogue' duties.
  • The 'Saboteur' trait effect to decrease heat time on successful duty assignment completion has been implemented.

Scene Content:

  • Two Schen chain duty assignment sets added (12 duty assignments).
  • Two Happee chain duty assignment sets added (12 duty assignments).
  • Two Harian chain duty assignment sets added (10 duty assignments).
