Starter Species Poll

Hey all, letting you know that I've put up a poll to determine the first starting species to appear in Carnal Voyages over on the Patreon! I currently plan to work on plotline sets in pairs, so you'll be able to pick two out of eight to kick things off with. I've also included some quick progress notes, so swing on over for all the details.

State of the Game - Encounters

Hey all, it's a new year and time for a new State of the Game post! I've been getting pretty deep into code for the past month or so, and a lot of progress has been made but there's plenty more yet left to go. You can check out the Patreon post here for some thoughts on game design and the usual very ugly GUI screenshots, also I'll probably be doing a poll later this month on which species plotlines I ought to write first, so that's something to keep an eye out for.

State of the Game - Crew and Ship Generation

Hey all, wanted to let you know that the monthly state of the game post is now up, with further progress on Carnal Voyages. GUI continues to be very placeholder and probably will be for several more months, but a lot of code work is continuing, particularly in the area of generating NPC crewmembers and building the ships the player will command. With any luck, later this month I'll get to the part where your ships actually go somewhere and do stuff. While things may be a bit quieter while I'm buried in scripting, folks are always welcome to swing by the discord if you have any comments or questions on planned game design or whatnot. If not, see you in a few weeks for the next update!

Overseer's Edition Released!

Hey all - it's time! Carnal Coup Overseer's Edition is now on sale on various storefronts, with a bit of a launch discount to boot! As I've already posted the patch notes for this release I don't have much more to say about it, other than to note again that this edition also includes the full set of Stories from Watch Station chapters and a brand new pdf artbook. Additionally, any further bug fixes or QoL updates for Carnal Coup will be aimed for this edition, although of course my hope is for a smooth launch and that I'll be able to soon turn my full focus towards our next project. I'll post more about that in a few days, but until then, swing by and check us out!
