v0.3.2 Supporter Release / v0.3.1 Public Release

Got a double whammy for you folks this week, with updates to both our public and Patron releases! Public players will be getting v0.3.1, while Patrons are getting v0.3.2 - note that from here on however, public releases will be a full month behind Patrons, so v0.3.2 won't be public until May. Of course, you can play it today by putting in a buck, so, eh, eh?

This week heavily focused on the image gallery and art updates, so written content was a bit lighter. You can expect to see a focus on content for the next few months, though, starting soon with our third featured race!

Game Review

Bit of news for you today, Carnal Coup has had its first review on the newly formed reddit board for NSFW gaming: Lewdgames!

Obviously the game is still in a very early state of development, but it may be worth checking out! Speaking of development, v0.3.2 is still on track for later this week, followed by the v0.3.1 public release. It'll be the first full month for the official launch of the project, so is a bit of a milestone for us. Hope you'll join us for it!

Poll Results

Hey folks, just an update for anyone not following the Patreon page, the poll results are in for the 3rd Featured Race, and the winner is: Vox Propagandists! They'll be joining to class the place up a bit in April! In the meanwhile, we also have our first Overseer-level polls running this week, in case you're looking to have some further input on the game.

I can report as well that the image gallery is on track for next week's release, as well as some other content, and we'll be having releases for both the public and patrons at the turn of the month. Keep an eye out!

v0.3.1 Supporter Release

Heads up to our readers, our first Patron-only update to the game, v0.3.1, is now available on the Patreon page! This update will be a public release next month, but for those of you curious what you're missing, the patch notes are as follows:

v0.3.0 Change Log

Game Functions:

* 'Cheat' options added behind a password protection, for tier 2+ Patreon supporters only.

* The ability to change gender and preference settings after game start is now a 'cheat' option.

* New Cheat option: You can now give yourself free advancement points, allowing you to visit departments without visiting directors first. Note; this system will be overhauled when the Gamification phase of the project hits.

* New Cheat option: Max Out Impersonation skill: gives you 100% Impersonation skill in all eight races, making citizen seduction encounters easier.

* Save games track when a cheat code has been entered; using cheats may have consequences in a later version of the game. 

* Male Harian citizens now draw portraits from a random pool of variants.

Scene Content:

* Roboticist Director Scene 2

Art Content:

* Harian male citizen portraits now come in both dressed and undressed forms, with nine possible variations of each.

You'll notice that this update does add a bit extra content for Supporters only. You can expect more of that to come later this month, as the Image Gallery is added. The next update will be in about two weeks, but you'll need to wait a month for the next public update. We do, of course, still love our freeloaders, but why settle for being a dirty, filthy alien perv when you could be a dirty, filthy, cheating alien perv?

Patreon Supporter Preview

Patreon Update

Hey, Patreon update here! Everything's still on track for the official launch with v0.3.0 this Friday, but I wanted to give you all a heads up on what to expect - particularly, the planned supporter tiers the project will have going forward. As I mentioned previously, there will be one delayed public release each month (the 'delayed' part kicking in once the supporter versions have a chance to get ahead), and two supporter releases each month. To give a little more detail, the supporter tiers will be:

$1 - You get access to all supporter releases, without delays!

$2 - You not only get release access, but also the 'cheat code' for that month. This will unlock advanced options and the image gallery! The cheat menu will be included in v0.3.0, the image gallery feature will be added later in the first month.

$5 - In addition to the above, you'll also get access to special art updates on the Patreon page, giving you sneak peaks at what will be added to the game in coming updates! You'll also be able to vote in special polls on game direction, for example, in what order races should be added to the game. There will also be a special credits section for $5 supporters.

$10 - In addition to the above, you'll also get access to special sets of polls to help choose specific bonus scenes/'random encounters' to be added to the game! There will also be a double-special credits section for $10 supporters.

Even if you don't want to sign on right away, you can still support by telling your friends, neighbors, and grandmas about the game! Remember, the more support the project gets, the more quickly we'll be able to add in new content. See you on Friday!
